Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ offers an array of state-funded assistance programs for residents who attend college in their home state. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ scholarship monies that you have accumulated are available for use with any type of accredited institution your student scholar wishes to attend.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes lottery-funded scholarships to reward Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ high school graduates for high academic achievement.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid Tuition Plans

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid Tuition Plans may also be used at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Southern College.

All State of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Aid Programs

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Southern students are eligible for the following Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Department of Education financial assistance programs.

Effective Access to Student Education (EASE)

Formerly called the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Resident Access Grant (FRAG), the EASE grant provides support from the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Department of Education to students who are Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ residents attending private, non-profit colleges and universities within the state.

$3,500 per year

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bright Futures Scholarship Program

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bright Futures Scholarship Program establishes lottery-funded scholarships to reward Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ high school graduates for high academic achievement.

To be eligible, students must meet the criteria established by the state of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, including minimum GPA, test score and community service hours.

Up to $6,752 per year

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid Tuition Plan

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid Tuition Plans may be used at FSC, during any academic semester, including summer terms. We will bill Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid directly each semester for the tuition & fees covered by your plan. Payment is issued by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid directly to the school.

To transfer funds from a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid Tuition Plan, please complete the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid College Plan Transfer Form and send to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Prepaid to be processed.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Student Assistant Grant (FSAG)

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) Program is a need-based grant program available to degree-seeking, resident, undergraduate students who demonstrate substantial financial need and are Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ residents.

Funds may be limited and it’s important to complete your FAFSA early to receive full consideration.

Minority Teacher Education Scholars

The Minority Teacher Education Scholars (MTES) program is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students administered by the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. (FFMT).

Scholarships for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans

The Scholarships for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans (CSDDV) provides an award to dependent children or unremarried spouses of qualified Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ veterans.
